Argan Oil, the "Miracle Ingredient"

Argan Oil
The oil comes from the fruit of the argan tree. The fruit or nut is dried and crushed to release the kernels (up to three kernel in one nut). These are slightly roasted.
Berber women have used Argan oil for centuries to protect and nourish their skin, hair and nails from harsh conditions in which they live. Argan oil is now gaining worldwide popularity as a "miracle ingredient" especially in cosmetic industry in Europe and North America. It has extremely high levels of vitamin E and 80% fatty acids that make it perfect for healing many skin ailments and for protecting against premature aging.

Argan oil has a vibrantly toasty, nutlike flavor with fruity overtones and a delicate touch of bitterness.
